Homestuck/MSPA
Drunut:
HOLY YES.
Anyone else notice the music link in the new update? I saw it and exploded. Because that's when I found a legitimate excuse to make a Homestuck fangasm topic.
In case you haven't read Homestuck (or Mspaintadventures at all) it's quite frankly the most amazing webcomic of all time. OF ALL TIME.
Here's the page for new readers like (possibly) you!

It is REALLY hard for me to describe exactly what it is, because it encompasses everything. And if you were to ask someone who has kept up with it to describe it in a single word. The first thing to appear would be either "Epic", "Read." or "Yes."
Honestly, the only thing I can tell you to do is go here,
http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6
Read, then press Enter Name, and it goes from there! Please bear with the text-heavy first chapter though. It needs to be there for later don't worry, the epic builds.
Honestly I feel like I don't do the comic justice with this post it's just that amazing. And hey Dudes cool enough to import Recettear are cool enough to read it, so why not you?

That's actually a good advertisement. :P
I have tried reading it before but I wasn't hooked... I read Problem Sleuth instead. :D
Fine, I'll try this "HomeStruck" thing again. ::)
Capitalism:
I actually read some the day the link to the music was posted on the Recettear page.
I read it for an hour or so, then I realized it was gonna be a painfully long series, I skipped to the end to see how long it would be. If my math is right, it's like 4.3k pages or some shit... So to say the least, I decided to stop reading it, my little free time is fairly valuable.
Drunut:
If you can handle the DMK fight in PS, you can handle Homestuck. Just bear with in the beginning. It's the slow start up that makes the conclusions really amazing. Yeah... It's... a good size >.>
But if it wasn't that long, it wouldn't be so awesome. Some comics are long because they wallow around doing nothing much. This one's long because there's just that much going on. To put it in perspective as well, these posts you're seeing aren't very large and most of the time they're only a picture and chat-log. With the occasional exception of an interactive scene (those stop eventually though,) or if it's an important scene, a flash. Andrew (the creator) can make a normal page in a few minutes, so it updates a couple times a day. Therefore the archive looks deceptively lenghty. ;)
Gah I'm rambling.
SUMMARY: It's worth it, because everything it tells you is important. And it all compounds into an intriguing epic. You can take five seconds out of your day and read a couple of pages. It's not a huge time commitment unless you want to archive binge the thing (also fun). ;D

I keep trying to get into it, but for some reason the humour just doesn't work for me. I don't know why.
It feels a little like it's trying too hard to be ironic in trying too hard (the Dave bits were indeed difficult for me to get through), but the reputation for hiding little things everywhere makes me feel like I should be taking note of everything, no matter how much I want to skip it.
