Rings

Does anybody have experience with the different ring types? As for me, so far I have only used the healing ring, which is quite useful. From my observation, it seems to heal almost full health, as soon as HP sink below 50%. Chance of breaking on use seems to be somewhere around 20%, but I haven't seen it happen often enough to be really sure about it.

Does anybody know what kind of ailments the purity rings work against? The only thing I can think of, is the bee and trap slowdown, but that seems quite useless. If there's something more to it, maybe one could carry one of these and only equip it, when needed, so the slot isn't wasted for items which actually improve stats.

Edit: Hey, now that's some timing…

Yeah the Healing Rings are incredibly useful, I use barely any food thanks to them.
They don't save you from dying in one hit, though, so if you march to the last dungeon with a low lv char you can still die.

The Healing Rings only trigger upon taking damage while the Meditation Rings only trigger while using a skill.
So yeah if you have 0 energy the ring won't do anything since you can't use a skill to trigger the ring.

Purity Ring seems to trigger even if you put it on when you are already paralyzed and it immediately removes the paralysis.
Kinda limited usefulness, imo.

I've never used Graceful ring so no idea what it does...
I'm guessing you don't lose energy if your skill gets interrupted before it works.
Why not use Meditation Ring instead?

Thief's Ring disables traps.
I forgot if it affects floor ones but it does disable chest ones.

You just see the ring trigger and then it either stays intact or breaks.

Mystery ring: Dunno. I made a thread about it not far from yours!
Wouldn't have made it if your thread was already on my sights. :)

Edit: oh, mine was first. ...by a tiny bit. nice timing.

Skills don't cost any SP whatsoever with the Graceful ring. But it has a pretty high chance of breaking, maybe 40-50%.

Interesting!
The second you said that I tried to use it on Arma!
Shame it didn't work for her.

Seems it cuts a large percentage of cost, not 100% though.
Or at least my Griff seems to lose some even while wearing one...

Still, it's definitely very useful, it would seem.

I never really tried the ring that much. I used it once with charme and spamming blazing fist, it broke really quickly and I noticed that my SP barely changed.

Evoker ring's description is wrong, it increases magic defence, not magic power.
