That looks famili-...oh wait...

And yeah, pretty much the only thing we know is what could possible come after Project Four, which would be Territoire.

Yeah, things are still pretty much humming along over here. I really, really wish we could talk about P4, because I'd originally planned to announce it months ago. There should be some light at the end of the tunnel, though.

And yes, we've also been talking with EGS about Territoire, and it sounds like it's coming along really well. It'll all but certainly be a 2013 release at this point, but from the sound of things, it's really shaping up to be something worth the wait. We'll definitely be working on the Get Hype! meter once that's closer to completion in Japanland.

Ironically, if that were true, this project would be done already, since most of that work is already done!   :D

Seriously, they got a little bit too laid back after Recettear earned them over 9000 half a million US$. This thing should've been done already.
It better be one of the most mindblowing video game release ever and not pull DNF on us. After all, pretty much every suggestion towards Recettear or Chantelise was shunned away, with "working on Territoire" being the #1 reason.

Well, remember, it's a full-featured (and I do mean full-featured, they're aiming to be as close to "major" titles as they can) game that's being worked on by a team of basically four dudes. They've taken their time getting the game just the way they want it, and hopefully people will think the effort paid off!

As mentioned before, it's a perception issue: there's been next to nothing on the customer-facing front, apart from Twitter updates about largely non-company stuff. With the utter silence on the Drakblog and the lack of any news after the release of Fortune Summoners (including the lack of updates to any of the released games), there's the sensation that whatever is happening Behind The Scenes, it isn't good.

Honestly, when the site went down for a few days recently, there was a niggling suspicion in the back of my mind that CF had basically quietly packed up and absconded. (This was quickly dismissed due to being Out Of Character, but the suspicion was still there.)

There's a super-injunction on Project Four (to the point where apparently we're not allowed to know why it can't be talked about), and Territoire is "When It's Done", and after that it doesn't seem like CF has anything lined up or being looked at.

Note that this has nothing to do with whether CF does have more projects in the pipeline beyond Project Four and Territoire. It's entirely possible that there are more, but without being told, it's not like we'd know.

Project 4 had better turn out to be you localising Ace Attorney Investigations 2 for Capcom! I assume P4 is for a larger developer and that's the reason you can't talk about it.

We are all clearly enjoying the wait so very much. So... very much...

Imagine this and all posters posting about this subject having the shakes and other withdrawal symptoms. I'm starting to.

Nah, we don't really have any more news, just random speculation. I've been trying to keep myself pre-occupied with things like Nyu-Media coming to Steam, but that isn't going so well, either. Maybe it's time to power up the console gaming again for a change and forget about the PC for a little while.

So I'm not sure if you can answer this question, but you make it sound as if it's getting simultaneous release in Japan and America. Is that actually a thing or is it done and released in Japan?

He was talking about Territoire there, not P4. I'm fairly certain, anyway.

Project 4 better be damn exciting, or there will be a lot of backlash.

I'm pretty sure SD and Robin realize this, as it seems that they regret entering a deal that requires their absolute silence if their posts are anything to go by.

First off, I'd like to say how happy I am to hear that CF will be localizing more games. I really love small companies like this that take the extra time to do a good job bringing something over from Japan that I wouldn't otherwise get to enjoy.

To everyone whining about how long their current project is taking. Take a chill pill or something. Translating a game and getting it ready to distribute isn't something that happens over night. Especially for a small company. It takes time and getting mad about how long it is taking isn't going to help get it done faster. A small company like this needs your support and patience, not threats of "this better be good" or "hurry up". If it wasn't for them you likely wouldn't even get the game at all.

Thank you Carpe Fulgur, for bringing wonderful Japanese PC games over here to us in the United States. Myself and my family truly appreciate getting to play these games. It takes as long as it takes and our computers will still be here when it's done, and so will we. ^_^
