Leaving the battle arena against Tielle

I found that after you find Tielle for the 3rd time and actually start to battle against her, you can actually leave the arena, running backwards to the platforms you were on before. The camera sort of follows you backwards but not completely. I have tired this multiple times so i know it wasn't a one time occurrence.
