Not metal?

I didn't look at the forums for this issue because I am a "savescummer" but this came up and I "had" to reload because it made no sense.  One of the main NPC's (maybe an adventurer) asked for "something metal" so I offered her a silver helm and she got all bent out of shape like I was the idiot.  It just irritated me enough to post, it doesn't brake the game.  Otherwise the game is going swimmingly.

Thanks,
Pastacrusade

P.S.
Let the noodles of the Flying Spaghetti Monster into you life.  The Fullness and completeness of pasta will overcome you.

"Metals" and "Precious Metals" are two different categories.

As a huge tabletop RPGr I dont really care what my +AC gear is made out of, so long as its a +.  I see you're point, but there is no know way I could have responded correctly unless I knew that little fact a head of time (BTW I didn't.)  I know silver and gold are different from iron and bronze but they are both "metal."  "Precious" and "Base" are good adjectives that (to me) clearly define what the material in question is.  I just wish that I had more "heads up" on that issue.

P.S.
Hove you started worshiping the FSM yet?

If you want you can use the wiki to see if that item fits into that category.

I should probably update the wiki's theme... I'll get onto that soon!

I appreciate that there is a wiki, and believe me when i say that I will be "all up in" the wiki  for me second play through.  I don't want to research a game that I am playing get the full experience(minecraft excluded :) )   Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on this game for (what I believe to to be) a single error.  I just want to point out and (less importantly) express to the creator my displeasure in that error.  I forget who said "the worst thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is perfect when it is not."  I like this game; but their next game, or a patch of this one, I hope will address this issue.  Like I said before, I understand the reason that silver is not a "metal," but i don't think that voids my point as well.

As always, thanks.
