"OH GOD I'M CRASHING WHYYYYYYY HELP" - Read this!

--- Quote from: T_Neumann on July 29, 2011, 07:34:08 AM ---I have indicated my machine is top spec, and it is, because I can run the most demanding games on full-tilt without a single drop in performance, and it's Windows 7. That is all the information , (since I have seen dozens of other people with the same issues on similar specs) I needed to post.

You must be really, really new to PC gaming.

Not sure how you can say that. It's clear that even people who have posted Dxdiags have gotten absolutely no help whatsoever. I won't waste my time doing the same until I see otherwise.
What about you though, you must be really, really new to making games work... (badly, if not at all).
Anyway you got my purchase money, so good on ya, your mission is accomplished.
kwakstar:
He's not a programmer...?
SpaceDrake:
Little bit of a hint: if you don't provide specifics we have absolutely no way of troubleshooting the problem because we cannot even begin to isolate what the problem might be
"Top end computer" tells us literally nothing
mozzery:
Actually, Drake explained to me exactly why my game was running extremely slowly in the first dungeon, and what the problem was and told me there was nothing I could do but upgrade my comp or get a new one, (I'm running intel integrated graphics still). If you give more information, you can be given a more detailed response. If I said I had an old computer, it would not have been enough information because if my graphics card was better, I'd be able to play the game faster, (I think). The idea is that each aspect of your computer is important in determining whether you can play something fine or not. With only the information of "hi spec gaming PC" Drake, (real name Andrew Dice) could give you probably at least 3 potential problems you have and their solutions. It'd probably be quicker to give him the info he wants so that he can zero in on what the exact solution is. I'm guessing if you give him your info, you'll end up with a happier resolution than I did.
T_Neumann:
I have calmed down now. But the customer is always right, and therefore, I am presently unwilling to apologise. Besides, it wasn't flaming, it was justified criticism. Of course it's impossible to get the game working on every machine (and quickly) but approaching a year is long in the tooth, and I see no sense of remorse from anybody, and worst of all, no indications that I should have expected problems.
Anyway, since you seem to think, and continue to tell me, that my dxdiag will help the situation, despite it not helping others, I post it. But I am not hopeful.
