Maybe project4  is The Grana Embrace series for the PC (theres already a first chapter and the 2nd one is coming I think) that looks like a Final Fantasy Tactics, made by Classic C Koukairou. Classic C already got a game out of japan (Crescent Pale Mist). Wishful thinking right xD !

The only thing we know is still the fact, that this project exists...
..and that SpaceDrake is really fucking pissed off that he can't reveal it yet.

This is pretty much truth. I was hoping we'd be able to reveal it by now. Circumstances, however, forbid me from doing anything other than mention "we're working on it".

Is it The Idolmaster?

it's not The Idolmaster. I know.. you don't even have to tell me. But god I wish it was The Idolmaster.

Honestly, I will get anything Carpe Fulgar makes at this point. So far, all their games have been some of the most fun games I have played in a long time. Keep up the good work.

Oh man I wish it was too, if only for the reason that I'd like to be able to buy Idolm@ster 2 without dumping huge amounts of money into the import.

Le sigh

If this thing won't be revealed once Tokyo Game Show 2012 is over, then I'll lose all hope.

I have a mental image of Project Four just showing up on Steam one day without warning, with the title and store page completely redacted/blacked-out.

That... might not be a completely unrealistic time-frame for a reveal, FWIW. But don't hold me to it.

And believe me I am probably going to lose my shit if we can't reveal by then

Are you allowed to tell us why the developer and/or Japanese publisher is so fixated on keeping Project 4 a complete mystery?

On the plus side, knowing that you're in suspense about revealing it as much as we are to have it revealed makes it a little less painful, misery loves company and that. XP

But yes, are you able to say much more on the why other than "we can't?" It's completely understandable if not, but that may keep critics and the curious both at bay.

Nope, because that could reveal information about who is involved. Sorry, but this has to remain under wraps beyond simply "it exists", for now.

Believe me, this kind of delay in announcing it was not originally in the cards. We're working with what we have at the moment.

Of course. Which means that all we can do is 'be patient' in the meantime.

Which is never fun, but when you have little choice... well. I think we have bugged the Carpe Fulgur folks enough about this. I'm sure they'll share the information they can as soon as they are able. And while it's often a little bit joyous to know a secret others want to know, I doubt they're having much more fun than we are about the matter.

There are plenty of other things to do in the meantime. I suggest we occupy ourselves with those things, instead of what the next project is.

Indeed Lilith!

So Space could you let us know what the next product will be? ;) Just kidding.

No Lilith is right though, we could start spending our time by replaying CF's earlier games and just go "awwww" at the main characters, i name Arche number one. Next to that spread the CF fame around and get your friends to play these Yayificacious games

Well, I recently finished 100% completing Fortune Summoners (finally) and it was one of the best games I've played in awhile simply due to the satisfying difficulty. Every time the game got easy I'd start the next dungeon and my frustrations would be thoroughly renewed. It was always rewarding once I got used to the new enemies and improved my tactics, though, so I loved it. The localization was excellent, as well, of course.

With that I await the next CF release so whenever you guys want my money...

So... Fate/stay night just got announced for a Vita release. *hint hint*
Mahoutsukai no Yoru is fine too. I believe that one doesn't have voiceacting, so it might be cheaper to :p

Quick question about Project 4: Not asking what its title is or isn't, but...is it an indie game?

Also, what are the chances of CF starting on a fifth project before Project 4 is revealed?

It would be nice if  Carpe Fulgur was handling the PC version of La-Mulana.

Is it The Idolmaster?

oh gosh +18002 AND a bonus copy of a "collaboration" between 765 Pro and DMX

Anyway, my realistic next thought is actually Bunny Must Die. EDIT: Oops, I forgot Rockin' Android was already working on this title.  Which makes sense since they've also done Platine Dispositif's Gundemonium series.

Edit: Wait...could it be Touhou?  Have those games been officially localized yet?  I don't think so.
