Don't feed the org!
DLC would be nice, yes :)

its not a weird unknown brand; its a xbox 360 pc controller I wouldn't be so p.o'd if their "press release" wasn't yelling about the comprehensive controller support like its extensive. The controller mapping is far from perfect' otherwise i'd be able to map the dpad without having to resort to a crappy external app like xpadder, pinnacle, etc Not being able to map the dpad when the press release purposely bragged about extensive support (read the release and tell me you don't get that impression). The Xbox 360 is an industry standard and it really seems sloppily overlooked that i have to use analog control is a game made for dpad not everyones using saiteks
BTW if its the case they are only licensing for the text translation that should pretty much give you the answer that they are only in it for the quick cash turnaround and that to even dwell or ponder dlc is a exercise in frustration and a joke. I SERIOUSLY doubt we can expect anything in the way of DLC and a patch will take forever for them since they essentially have to beg the developer for one. Ugh... give this property to a company that can seriously add some benefits instead of someone who takes like 2 years to release a translation "cough cough" Cheap Cash In? no doubt :P Dreaming about dlc from a company who can't even get a translation out in time? Sits on their asses before releasing patches?

It would be helpful if you can link the press release you're referring to, as I can't find anything similar to what you state it says. Besides that, expecting a game developed by a single man that was released in 2007 to fully support the Xbox 360 support is a little foolish - the console never really caught on in Japan as well as it did in the US and Europe and Japanese indie games almost invariably are tuned for keyboard input rather than controllers.

First of all, Fortune Summoners was announced in July of 2011, and released in January 2012. Two years ago, Carpe Fulgur's existence was barely even public knowledge, as they were still working on Recettear in mostly radio silence at the time. If you are going to make assertions based on time, please at least make sure you actually have your timeline correct.
I also think you have exceedingly unreasonable expectations for a game that, again, was and is still developed by one person, who now I'm told works a full time job away from game development and can no longer devote his undivided attention to resolving issues for a game he originally released five years ago. As I've said before, Carpe Fulgur's mode of operation is not unusual even for larger, more established players in the localization industry and considering the circumstances, the fact you even have the game in your hands five years after the original release is a minor miracle.

Mediakill and SilentCaay, I deleted both of your posts for being fairly flagrant violations of Rule One: Be Excellent to each other. There's no need for calling people names, and there's no need to tell people to ignore someone.
It'll just be a warning for now, but if this thread gets much uglier I'll be turning it around and driving it home.
