The hardest part of the game for me was... a puzzle.(spoiler?)

That's right, a puzzle. Actually, in general I think the puzzles are the hardest part of this game. By the time you've beaten the game, you've probably memorized a lot of tricky routes.

But gods, the most annoying part of that game, was that stupid vase and putting it back together. The bottom ones aren't so tricky. It takes a few seconds to realize you need to give the bottom ones and extra scoot as to give room for V. Take the first one, scoot it a little extra to the left, take the second one, scoot it a little further, drop V and move them into place. A little tricky but not super tricky. Then comes IV and then I, if I remember correctly. But then OH GOD, the two at the top.

That last part is for people who know what they're doing with Stella. You have to be very careful of where you aim that fire and be able to move both blocks while they're up there.

I'm probably going to be mocked by people saying "no, you're dumb muscle like Arche. Anyone who uses their brain finds it easy". Well yeah. But the game itself isn't super hard. But that was definitely, I think, one of the hardest spots in the game. In my opinion at least.

Heck, the whole tower, or rather both towers are kinda annoying since both of them require leaps of faith to find doors to progress and loads of enemies that use confusion spells. But that was definitely a climax. That was like "ugghhhh", I knew what I needed to do fairly fast, but hitting the vines just right and moving the blocks was rather cumbersome.

Yeah I was going to say the vase too I really had to think for that one. I feel like I put it together in an odd way but I got it done in like 4 or 5 tries so I think I did fine xD. But the HARDEST place in the game had to have been the Archmages tower. At that time it was really hard and I had to have a lot of mind chocolates (or 6) to get through it. I honestly didn't think the last dungeon was so hard because I had the best armor and weapons I could get when going in there and I had those really strong aoe spells and there were THREE fountains in there so it really just took a long time getting through and I hardly had that much of a problem.

The vase was pretty easy for me, took 2 tries only because I accidentally moved a block to far and it got stuck lol, but that last dungeon was giving me problems mainly because I'd walk into a room and get owned by 3 spell-casters. If I could get in the first shot I was good but if not I'd be frozen by the dragon pups and then it was game over lol.  But I did beat it in the end so it all worked out.  The Dark Witch was really annoying though with some of her spells lol. The one that sucks you in and precedes to rape you wiped me a couple times lol.

Heh, I'd seen this topic a while back and was dreading doing the vase.  Then I got there and found it was very easy, actually.  Not that it didn't take me a couple tries, but its only a handful of minutes so nowhere near as difficult as dungeons that tend to kill you and send you back to town.

Spoiler/Tip: Don't try to build it a level at a time, but rather build each column first.  Just push stuff around at the bottom, and you can drop each block straight down, no need to worry about firing the wrong roses etc.

This person has it right. Don't listen to the fool wizard (although III is still a good last piece). Building the puzzle by columns is the way to go.

same here, i'v seen a lot about the vase and how people had problems with it
i tried to build it level by level in my first 2 or 3 attempts (which i wasted because i didn't pay attention and moved a block right next to another), but then i saw it isn't possible that way (when i was thinking about how to get the blocks from the vases in their proper location). so i ended up building them column by column as well and putting everything together at the end. wasn't hard at all that way

I'm nearing the end (finally) and just got through the vase puzzle. Took me like 4-5 tries but you can easily do it by levels. You just have to keep the bottom-left piece sticking out so Arche can climb on it and push blocks for the second level. And before you drop III into place, push it halfway off the cliff so II can land on it or II will get stuck. The biggest thing to know when doing it is that the switch lines up the blocks for you... I just assumed it reset the puzzle until the last try when I almost had it but I was stuck because the pieces were slightly out of alignment. I decided that time to pull the switch to reset it instead of breaking a piece and all the pieces shifted so I could squeeze I in where it belonged.
