Japanese Release
« on: January 08, 2012, 01:22:37 AM »
Will any of the releases of FS contain the original version of the game as well? The Steam version of your previous two games did, so I was wondering if this would as well.

Thanks! :)

The Japanese version may not be up on launch day, but we'll definitely try to help make it happen for Lizsoft.

Any word on this? I'm looking at the game for the Steam sale today and the page still says only English.

It is still only in English.  Bad SpaceDrake!

Well, I do think it would be nice for that small minority of Japanese people who use Steam. More Japanese games I'm sure would make Steam grow in Japan.

Not to mention non-Japanese people who enjoy using video games as a language study tool.

Considering that original version is still being sold for 3600 yen (arround 46$), no, not going to happen.

C'mon SpaceDrake, how much effort does it take to reply with a "yes", "no" or "not sure yet, but we'll get back to you"?

Whether you're idle or not, don't appear to be so.

Maybe a chat box would've been better than a forum. Then maybe when SpaceDrake is here then we can talk to him actively.
TG: and a ruined cake! it was going 2 be so delish, but no

Ahem, well. :V

Anyhow, this is really all on Steam and Lizsoft; there's not much we can do beyond just suggest it to both parties. We have no sales control over the Japanese version or over sales in Japan (our contract explicitly forbids our selling of the game in Japan, in fact).

Well, I can live in hope, or find a Japanese release vendor.

Cheers for the eventual response.
