ok so im on day 15 already and i already did the hall of something and pawned Charme but i still couldn't get her to visit my shop. also the mage has re-appeared but i still can't find the slime liver also how can i unlock a new dungeon? i already finished the jade way but nothing happens.

Keep running Jade 1-5 and get the slime boss to drop the liver.  It is random.

Slime livers drop from the Crowned Slime. Like all drops, though, it doesn't happen every time. Give it a couple more goes.

The problem is the 104% and the 70% thing only works 75% of the time.

And im finding it very difficult to find the near pin spot for red items. 208% definately doesnt work most of the time.

For example selling reds to Elan at 240% seems to work most of the time. But for most other people, e.g. the woman, it doesnt work.

104% is just a guideline that repeatedly gives the -best- results, not perfect results. Prices vary between items, customers and even attempts with the same item and customer. When items are high-priced, it's harder to find the sweet spot because any deviation from 104%~ is doubled as well. I'm sure a better guideline detailing each customer will pop up eventually as testing is done, but this is what's been working the best for most people.

Anybody else not liking the vending machine?  I get the feeling it is talking sales out of my normal chain, hurting exp/rep gain.

I have not noticed it taking any sales other than the fact that you get one less table. It's basically free money if you keep it stocked.

From what I can tell, each customer is processed serially (you know when a customer fails to buy/sell/order when you see the disc spin @ bottom right with nothing happening) and the vending machine roll is completely seperate and subsequent to the buy/sell/order roll.

I have not noticed it taking any sales other than the fact that you get one less table. It's basically free money if you keep it stocked.

So with vending machines, it's as if customers have extra money?

I haven't been using vending machines precisely because I was afraid it would "steal" customers (and thus xp) from me, but this would change everything...

As wonderful as that may be, what does this have to do with Tips and Tricks?

I would also argue that the "end of day" profits don't exactly count, since it also substracts whatever you might have bought.

That sounds like quite the sales for day 12, though! Loop 1? Or...?

I just didn't want to make a new thread for it Elegant, it should be end of day as buying should count. Nah, not first loop, loop 4 I think? Just smashed it with 414K profits for day 15.

Spoilery tip for those who haven't passed the 4th dungeon and got the adventurer from there and uses that adventurer in the 5th dungeon. Highlight below. Probably won't work if the background isn't white.

When using Griff and if you get a slippery floor, or a slick trap, and you have the SP to spare. If you start hitting his first skill, the lightning charge or whatever it's called. He'll move at the space of one room. I used it plenty of times cause I'd want to get through floors asap for that insane crawl.

Once you get access to the endgame stuff you can sell for absolutely absurd amounts per day, but my one-day record early on is about 1.4 million with 700k from one slice at day 21. Precious metals price up + woman valuables rush + 25 Golden Scales stocked = roflcopter.

The FAQ will be updated later, right now it contains some mildly incorrect info(such as the customer schedules, Charme can appear in the morning etc) so take it with a pinch of salt.

There was a fad, prior to a certain Mister Hoyt finding out that recycled pieces of bomber airframes make good bows, for making them out of pretty much the same steel as car springs.  While powerful, their loosing action is pretty vicious, and had a nasty habit of shattering into rather razor-edged pieces.  Consequently, they went out of fashion.
We've still got a few at our club for when we do history of archery talks, we just don't let anyone string one up.

i throw price-downed items in there so i can unload them without waiting for normalization,
since they can't haggle with a metal box.

Shouldn't those informations be transfered to the wiki instead ?
...and shouldn't/isn't there be a topic to decide how we maintain the wiki ? It feels somehow chaotic right now.
