works beautifully now. thanks. As a side note, I didn't change my control set up like the first post says to, but it still works.

"Set Keyboard Sensitivity to High" and "Set Keyboard Sensitivity to Low" are swapped, though. As in, + will increase rotation, but it says "Low". easily fixed, but yeah

Haha whoops. I'll be sure to fix that in the next release. And, yeah, now that it reads directly from Chantelise's preferences, you can set the controls to whatever and it'll work.

Anyway, i tried it out, and I can't get the sensitivity adjusting to work at all, no matter what I set the keys to. I can change it in the text file, but it seems to be permanently stuck to the high value. The rest seems to work.

Also, I was hoping it would also change the rotation speed for camera rotation via buttons (only one analog stick on my gamepad*, so I use the shoulder buttons to move the camera), but it doesn't seem to. sadness

Thanks for trying it out and posting feedback! I've added the ability to change the keyboard rotation amount. Let me know if it works for you.
+ and - on the numpad now set keyboard sensitivity to high or low instead of adjust mouse sensitivity
Also added extra output for changing sensitivity for both normal and debug versions.

New update:
Will now retry attaching to Chantelise if it wasn't already open
Reads the chant.ini file to get the keyboard options so you can now set them to whatever you want
Added a preferences file so camera sensitivities and hotkeys can be changed
If Chantelise is not the foreground window, mouselock will automatically turn off

There's also a new debug version
After starting, it should display the directories for Chantelise and chant.ini
Under that, it will show the values pulled from chant.ini and the key values used for keybd_event
It will then roll back to the standard preferences of ZXCV and the mouse buttons and left shift

I picked up Chantelise during the Christmas sales and when I started playing it, I couldn't get used to the camera controls so I wrote a program to control Chantelise with my mouse.

Before starting, set your keys to WASD for movement, Z to attack, Space to jump, C to magic, and V to camera.
Start Chantelise then start this (Must be run as administrator). It should say successfully attached.
Click on the Chantelise window and press R to toggle mouse lock. Your mouse should now be stuck there.
While mouse lock is on, the Left mouse button is Z, Right is C, and clicking the scroll wheel is V.
Once in-game, moving the mouse will also move the camera back and forth.
On the numpad, * and / set the mouse sensitivity to high or low while + and - will raise or lower it.
Q closes the program.

I've only had 1 person test it so far and it worked fine for them, but Chantelise uses an input method I don't quite understand so I'm not sure if it will work for all keyboards.
I realize this may seem a little suspicious coming as my first post so feel free to head over to virusscan.jotti.org and get it checked out.
