You're trying to play it like a button masher. It's not a button masher.

So I just finished this game and I gotta say, I loved it. I really like the story, the game play and everything else about it. (I still wish I would of been able to find Stella's Red and Black outfit, but I guess she didn't have one.).

I also really hope the sales of this game are enough to push the guy who made it to make a squeal, because he totally set it up for one. The Dark Witch isn't defeated!

I would would also really love to see older, maybe teenage versions of the girls on adventures and helping people like Arche said she wanted to do, because that sounds super neat to me.

I look forward to you're next project Cape Fulgur! May you translate more badass games!

-The quests are confusing as to who to talk to before performing them, and **does not prevent you from going the wrong way.
-The storyline is *bland and quite *overdone.  Maybe if the story was **not so linear, it could be a huge plus.

*Contradiction One
**Contradiction two.

You have no freaking clue what you are talking about.

Also this isn't a review, it's a first impressions, you're giving your self way to much credit.

I've had Sana and Arche in Red and Black outfits for a whole now, and it's really bothering me that I can't find Stella's. Does she have one?

You guys ought to be glad I didn't do this. So tempting.

Robin would've destroyed my knees if I even dared[/size]

i would have never been able to resist, obviously, since i poorly MSpainted it anyway. It was sitting right there, ripe for the picking, oh man, the temptation would of been to great.

General Discussion / Re: Thank You Carpe Fulgur

In fact I'd felt surprisingly alone about how much I like Japanese "tropes" in gaming(as "tv tropes" would call it) lately. I'd been dogpile flamed and trolled at an anime forum recently for saying I don't like first person shooters.

Merely seeing something like "Nippon Ichi" puts a big smile on my face that something like Bioware could never do(well, unless they changed their company dramatically).

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! GET OUT OF MY HEAD! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!

Between Touhou avatars and your Kodomo No Jikan avatar, goddamn i love the people on this site. +

I think it would been unplayable.
Try Morrowind. It has no quest markers and all you get are descriptions to your destination. If the world is well designed, this system works quite well.

No dude I gave up on morrowind after about an hour. Terrible.

Without the arrows, playable yes, though annoying at times.

Without fast travel, *shudder* skyrim's a big world, I'll leave it at that.

I have a friend who did the opposite. He still uses the arrows because he can't turn them off, but refuses to use fast travel. I think he's insane.

They also revive is you find hero marks.

I actually think Skyrim would've been a BETTER game without the overly obvious arrows and the fast travel,

I think it would been unplayable.

The game is designed to evoke an snes era rpg. Including the part of an snes era rpg where you explore
Everywhere and talk to everyone before you come what you're looking for.

Ah, so essentially you're saying we, modern day gamers, are spoiled? ;) (For the record, I can't even disagree with you!)

A bit, though that's the great thing about video games today, the fact that stuff like skyrim, that does always have an arrow, and stuff like this, that are more of the classic sleuth style of game can coexist on the same top seller page.

If I were to make the claim modern day gamers were spoiled, i would include my self in that as well, seeing
as how I've been playing for 8 hours now, and at various points found my self wishing to god there was a fast travel button.

In all, I wouldnt say anyone's spoiled, more like you just have to get into the right mindset.
