Having a bit of a problem doing the Snap Slash ( < then X ). Even with Snap Thrust ( < + X ) disabled, I can't seem to do it! What does it look like? Any pointers?

Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone / Re: Save checks stats!

Done via editor. This problem does not exist if stats are changed and loaded in the main quest though.

I noticed that if the bug is done as per my previous post, the save file goes under a different location than "Prologue Clear Data" when it is saved.

Huh. If you change the characters max HP or MP while doing the Bonus Quest, complete the dungeon, and then save...

"The data cannot be loaded."

No such problems with money though.

Thank god for .bak save files!

You get Charme after you beat her in 15F of Jaded way. Just sell her some stuff a couple of times when she comes to your shop and she'll give you her card.

Caillou asks for some stuff on the 5th day I think.
- Bat Wing from Eyebats
- Slime liver from Crowned Slime (a boss)
- Charred Lizard from Gnolls (the dog-like enemies. Throws rocks, punches hard) or Reginald Drisby (the rat boss).

He comes back every 3 days to check if you have it. If you're successful, sell him stuff a couple of times and you'll get his card.

The green haired girl with robot arms? That's Arma, and you get her at the very end of a 100 floor dungeon after the main story...

Since you only have 2 days left I don't think you'll be able to get any of these characters. Turn all your money into items and try again on the next loop.

There is one oddly specific boss I enjoy using Force Gemini on, and that's when you fight Tielle.

Did you know that if you use Teleport while fighting her final form, you end up in the first area and can snipe her with Gemini Force from OUTSIDE her walkable area? :D

You just need to walk up a bit to get into range.

Overshadowed? I think not.

Pyrobomb has the same invincibility frame but a much quicker recovery. In fact, it's possible to beat Arma without losing any hp by going around in a circle and pyrobombing as she throws the sawblades (they only hurt when returning), provided she doesn't bust out her machinegun, move away really fast or back up into a wall. It's also my main anti-Griff and anti-Charme spell since they get knocked down with Sparkburst. It also has really good upwards range, and you can clear floating pumpkins and bees easily. Not to mention it's not blocked by obstacles unlike Sparky, which is really useful when trying to hit that bomb under the crab boss. Cost effective too - it only costs 5 SP per use.

Ice Mine is great as a makeshift wall or spawncamp trap. Try it while doing a bossrush with Samhains and throw one while they disappear. Since they like to move around you in a circle there's a good chance you get 5 free hits on them, or at least knock away that pesky fire ghost while you Sparkburst the main threat into tiny tiny gems. Also, Geddon Device becomes an even funnier joke - set 5 of them on the same spot and watch as he lands oh so gracefully on them and suicides. The only problem is that it's not blocked by walls, so positioning them can get tricky. Mostly for fun though.

I think I'm gonna lay off Conqueror Caillou for a bit and work with other chars more.

Thanks for the tip. Didn't notice that the files were not packed.

I amplified the volume to suit the other BGM levels, however some peak clipping happened (might sound like it comes from a radio at certain parts, but not really noticeable unless you have a good ear and a quiet environment). Here's the link.

Thank you Audacity! :D

I noticed that at Griff's 2nd battle (the on top Obsidian Ruins where he has a demon hand helping him) and the final battle with Avall/Geddon machine the battle music is awesome, but way too soft compared to the other background music. It's barely audible until I turn the music to 9 and others to 3 and double my speaker's settings.

Then the battle ends and the normal music is way too loud.

Was the internal volume setting for that piece of music too low?

Also, the volume change from setting 5 to 7 to 9 is incredibly steep. It goes from barely audible, to ok, to really loud. There isn't much use for the lower settings if I have to turn my volume to 99 to hear it...

Items in your shop affect the atmosphere too. Putting too many magical hats or capes sends it right into dark territory, while precious metals send it into royal bling gaudiness.

It's a game design. Right window only has 3 display slots in the Japanese version too.

I've had the same problem, but it was caused then I used my normal attack on a dashing skeleton.
It fell past the fence and couldn't come back.

Story mode, 2nd week or so.

Slime Liver from Crowned Slime.
Charred Lizard from Reginald Drisby (the rat boss).
Bat Wing from Eyeball-bats.

They're all in the Jade Way dungeon, I think.

The first 2 are easily gotten through boss rush, the last one is easily gotten by hanging around a floor with eyeball bats until one drops it.
