I think the bonus demo dungeon isn't in the full game...

It is but you only have the option of accessing it between finishing the prologue and starting the main quest. When you finish the prologue it bumps you back to the Main Menu and at that time the bonus dungeon can be accessed from the Continue Menu but it disappears once you start the main quest.

The one and only issue I have with the team AI is that they can't follow you over non-terrain obstacles like when you have to ride the moving platforms or jump across pits on the hanging basket things, etc. Though that's rarely a problem since there usually aren't many enemies in rooms like that. It's still kind of annoying when there are enemies, though.

During battle, Sana heals me most of the time but I try not to rely on her (remember you can cancel quick-heal by pressing the button during the wait time so hit quick-heal when you're in danger and cancel if Sana covers for you before it gets used) and Stella does her nuke spells. Just make sure you turn off the less useful spells so they don't waste MP on them. And practice so that you can kill the enemies yourself instead of having Sana and Stella waste all their magic killing things for you.

The game has 11 days, im in the day 5.
Right, you're still early on.

Quote
What i meant is that i have to press a key 3-4 times before archer reacts while the enemy has "fast movement".
See #5.

No offense but it's painfully obvious you're still early on in the game.

1) Battles flow much more smoothly once you've got a few more moves to chain together for combos.
2) There are items to help you escape dungeons and revive characters you just haven't gotten that far yet.
3) 10% of your money to escape is nothing. This game doesn't punish you for dying so why not just keep trying? If you get to a point where you have almost no life and you really have to escape but don't want to spend the cash, just make a run for the entrance. Even if you die a few times along the way you still aren't penalized. I really don't see the point in complaining about the incredibly minor 10% penalty especially when it's entirely avoidable.
4) Stuff is expensive, so what? You know what I find boring? Those RPGs where you run straight from one town to the next and the stuff is so cheap or you have so much money that you can clean out the city and still have cash left over. You can't do that in this game which is the way I like it. You have to pick and chose which items you need rather than just buy one of everything. I especially avoid the staves since, unlike most RPGs, they don't increase your MAG stat and are therefore fairly useless for Sana.
5) As for the rest of your issues, practice, practice, practice.

Simply put, nobody implied anything about remapping gamepads. You may have inferred it but that's your own problem. Who wouldn't want to play with a dpad? I dunno, probably nobody which is why most people that want to play with a dpad that badly already do. I do and I've talked to people with 360 controllers who do. I've even helped a number of people rebind the controls for this game so that it suits them. They just weren't as whiny and rude as some others, though.

Full support? Funny i can't set my dpad on my wireless xbox 360 controller. Can anyone??? For a company who's press release for this game made a point of specially mentioning the extensive controller support. Can't map the dpad Funny how capcom and hell alot of game companies can add native xbox 360 support that works fully. Who the hell wants to use analog for a side-scroller??
This wouldn't piss me off so much if they didn't make it seem like it works as it should.

You seem to misunderstand. If the game supported the 360 controller and only the 360 controller it would have 360 controller support. Since you can use your 360 controller and I can use my Logitech and someone else can use a different brand, it has full gamepad support. "Full gamepad support" doesn't have anything to do with rebinding options. You want to talk about laziness but you won't even go and find the answers to your problem yourself. You just jump into topics and start whining. Don't expect me to help. I'd be happy if you just stopped playing this great game altogether with that attitude.

Doubtfu. They appear to be a lazy company that wants to just port the stuff to english and rake in as much cash as possible while doing as little as possible on their end to add value. Seriously doubt we will see anything that generous. Maybe a patch in 6 months if lucky. Just an impression since it took forever for them to finally release it.
Can we at least get some dpad support? You know like the full controller support that was promised????  ::)

LOL, catching flies with vinegar, eh? The game has full gamepad support. Options are available for customizing controls as much as your little heart desires. Check the forums here and on Steam.

I'm not usually crazy about endless, randomly generated dungeons but I certainly wouldn't mind some extra FS content if it were a possibility.

Well, I just installed FS on my new build, played for over two hours and no problems there, either. I'll list all my specs for both builds just incase it helps narrow things down.

Old Build:
Win XP Pro SP3
Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.8GHz
Sapphire Radeon HD 3650
Foxconn mobo (would have to look up the exact model)
2x512MB RAM
WD 320GB HDD
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi
Dual monitor setup, non-Eyefinity compliant (very rarely I would get the dual monitor lag bug but only like 1 out of 5 times playing)
Logitech Rumblepad 2

New Build:
Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Intel Core i5-2500k @ 3.3Ghz
XFX Radeon HD 6870
ASUS P8Z68-V/Gen3
2x4GB G.Skill DDR3 1600
Crucial M4 64GB SSD
WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi
Dual monitor setup, Eyefinity compliant but not enabled (no lag bug yet but I only played the one session)
Logitech Rumblepad 2

Not even Sana's chocolate is safe, Ultimate Chicken?

Even if it weren't safe, I'd be unable to turn down Sana's chocolate. Arche or Stella, possibly, but not Sana =3

FFFFFFF, been busy setting up my new computer since Sunday and I don't even have FS installed right now. I would but my secondary storage hard drive arrived DOA so I have to wait for a replacement, grrr.

If it's the Stand Slash you're talking about, I disagree only in that F-Atk is too slow a riposite move, and enemies will ALWAYS trade hits with this if they don't already outprioritize Arche. U-Atk is similarly situational, because against the things it's supposed to be used on (fliers) will also trade hits with it, and unless you dash it has no horizontal range.

With some enemies it's true that you can't use Wide Slash that effectively but some enemies get absolutely owned by it. Slimes in particular you can just spam Wide Slash over and over. If you don't have any other enemies bugging you and if you don't miss your timing you can have them pinned down the whole time. Those fox guys with the swords (can't remember their name) can also be pinned down that way but they're a bit more feisty so it's harder to get the chain started but once you do they can be pinned down. Once in awhile they break out of it but it's still pretty effective.

---
Edit: I forgot to add that Arche takes a step forward with Wide Slash so when you get to the point of encroaching on the Slime's sprite, switch to the U+Atk Arch Slash for one turn to push them back otherwise you'll start missing when you get too far inside their sprite. That's how you keep them pinned down.
---

Taking your time is also good advice. For example, I had some trouble with Mothbees at first until I just stopped... Literally. If you stand still they "stand" still as well and will just shoot stingers from a set distance. Duck, jump or block the stingers but otherwise remain stationary. Once they start flaying toward you dropping their sleep dust, smack them in the face with your sword. It cancels the dust and they fly back to stinger-shooting distance. If the situation is risky when they're flying toward you, just jump over them and try again next time. This tactic gets a little tricky when there are 3 of them but if you take your time it can be done with minimal risk.

LMAO, I read your post before you edited it so I was a bit surprised just now.

I don't actually use the keyboard for FS, myself, but some folks on the Steam board were just as annoyed about not being able to bind movement keys on the keyboard as XBox controller users are. I found an app via Google and the topic creator said it worked out great so I'll post it here for anyone interested. It's a gamepad emulator for your keyboard, so basically a reverse Xpadder.

"Install the program, map your keyboard keys of choice to up/down/left/right and map the rest through the game itself, works a charm!"

General Discussion / Re: Thank You Carpe Fulgur

Anyway, teetering dangerously towards going off-topic there, it's so nice to see that I'm not the only one who appreciates the work that these fine people are doing. :)

Indeed, it's much appreciated having these great doujin games localized. Most of the other localized Japanese stuff on Steam is a bunch of shmups. Not a big fan of shmups and I have enough Touhou games to last a lifetime since I play them so rarely. Nyu has a couple non-shmup games lined up but I'm not overly interested. I'll give a demo a whirl if they have one when those games come out but can't say I'm really anticipating them while CF's choice in games is impeccable.
